"At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;
Neither from nor towards; at the still point, there the dance is,
But neither arrest nor movement. And do not call it fixity,
Where past and future are gathered. Neither movement from nor towards,
Neither ascent nor decline. Except for the point, the still point,
There would be no dance, and there is only the dance."

Li River, April 8, 2008

This is one of many, many images from a boat ride down LiJiang.  It was a cloudy day, diminishing the deep greens and surrounding the karsts in fog.

Another gorgeous shot. I appreciate your poetic prose and would love to read more of those perrsonalized descriptions of your experiences. A blessing for me to experience Italy, China, Seattle vicariously. I just discovered that I can see the enlarged photo by clicking on the thumbnail. I wonder if it would be helpful to make mention of that somewhere on your blog.
